Privacy Policy

The short version: our tools run on demand, we don’t require accounts, and we don’t sell your data.

Last updated: July 28, 2026

1. Who we are

SearchFrom (“we”, “us”) operates searchfromtool.com, a free suite of search preview and ad mockup tools. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the site and the choices you have.

2. What we do NOT collect

  • No accounts — we never ask you to register, so we hold no user profiles or passwords.
  • No stored queries — search previews are generated on demand and are not saved to a database.
  • No stored mockups — ad mockups are rendered entirely in your browser; downloading or sharing them happens on your device.
  • No sale of personal data — we do not sell or rent any information to third parties.

3. What is processed to run the site

Like virtually every website, some technical data is processed in order to serve pages:

  • Server logs. Our web server and network provider (e.g. our CDN) may log IP addresses, request URLs, timestamps and browser user-agents for security, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Logs are retained only as long as operationally necessary.
  • Preview requests. When you generate a preview, the query and location options you choose are used transiently to build that preview and are not retained by us afterwards.
  • Local browser storage. The tools may keep small amounts of data (such as interface preferences) in your own browser. This data never leaves your device and you can clear it at any time via your browser settings.

4. Cookies and analytics

We aim to keep the site as lightweight as possible. If we use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to understand overall traffic (page views, country-level visitor counts), such data is not used to identify individuals. We do not run advertising trackers or cross-site profiling cookies.

5. Third-party services

Generating a preview involves retrieving publicly available results from the relevant search engine, and our site may be delivered through a content delivery network for speed and security. Those third parties process technical request data under their own privacy policies. Content displayed inside previews (results, ads, images) originates from the respective search engines.

6. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g. under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because we deliberately hold almost no personal data, there is usually nothing to retrieve — but if you believe we hold information about you, contact us and we will respond promptly.

7. Children

The site is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
